Why must your words draw me in?
Why must your simple rhythms hypnotize?
Why can I not stay away from the sound?

You must know that I'm entranced by
not only your words,
but everything you do.

Your words make me sing,
your rhythms make me dance,
and your songs make me break.

I'm not speaking negatively, you must know.
For what you do
makes us who we are.

The Eternal Outcast

These are the words that have burdened me throughout my life. Their insurmountable weight forever entrenched in my conscious. Being denied since childhood that human warmth for which we all long for.
